At the heart of The Velvet Vow is a deep belief that weddings should feel as meaningful as they are beautiful—thoughtfully designed, seamlessly executed, and centered around the people they celebrate.
With over five years of experience in the wedding industry, working under established planners in both Austin, Texas and Charlotte, North Carolina, our founder brings a refined understanding of wedding planning, event design, and production across the Carolinas and beyond. In addition to planning, she is also the owner of a wedding and event content creation company based in Charlotte, offering a unique, well-rounded perspective on how weddings are experienced, documented, and remembered.

Our founder approaches each celebration with intention, care, and a genuine love for the work. Known for her ability to seamlessly blend multiple design visions into one cohesive aesthetic, she brings clarity to the planning process—transforming inspiration into a refined, elevated experience.
Equally important is the client experience itself. Every couple is met with thoughtful communication, guidance, and support, ensuring they feel confident, understood, and fully taken care of from the very beginning.
Beyond the Work
Outside of weddings, she is known as the one who gathers people—hosting, planning, and creating moments worth celebrating. She finds inspiration through her love of Jesus, travel, time spent with loved ones, and returning home to Texas, where her appreciation for connection, hospitality, weddings and community first began.
Jessica began her wedding planning career in 2021 and has never looked back. This has been her dream job since she was a little girl and God has kept that mission on her heart ever since!
